New Editor for Countryfile Magazine 25 November 2009

| BBC Magazines Bristol has today announced the appointment of a new Editor for Countryfile Magazine. |
Fergus Collins, previously Features Editor for BBC Wildlife Magazine will take over from Cavan Scott, who after two successful years at the helm has stepped down as Editor of the magazine to concentrate on his own writing projects and freelance opportunities. Fergus will take up his new post on Monday 30 November.
Jemima Ransome, Publisher of Countryfile Magazine commented: "The Countryfile brand has huge appeal and Cavan has done a brilliant job creating a magazine that compliments the programme so well. Fergus is uniquely placed to build on this - he brings incredible knowledge and insight and I'm really looking forward to working with him to consolidate the magazine’s position."
